Saturday morning and we have a few hours free, thought we could go along to the Lamfest at Elsecar Heritage Centre, the Lamfest was raising money to support the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, great cause.
Since the event started I think that I have been to most if not all, of these Rallies.
This year it appeared to be less stalls and less people (I guessing about 30% down). This is a shame, because if memory serves me correctly the tables are free.
We picked us some good bargains, saw some old friends. Supprised that there was no DMR Retaillers however also saw some empty tables which had been reserved, and I guess not taken up.
Tried some food and All I can say was the Service was chaos, it almost appeared that the Staff and never done this before and had little idea. My Coffee tasted so bad we skipped the food. The coffee and the Food were overpriced.
While have our coffee outside and chatting with friends (the best part of the Rally I have to say (Not the Coffee)). we got a glance at some steam trains, a treat for me !
