The Independent regulator and competition authority for the UK communications industry (Ofcom )has commenced a consultation on the key issues to be considered at the World Radio-communication Conference 2015, (WRC-15).
The World Radio-communication Conference are held approximately every four years and take key decisions concerning the identification and international harmonization of spectrum bands. Ofcom is the UK representative at WRCs. The next conference takes place in Geneva from the 2nd -27th November 2015. It will look at a wide range of issues across a number of sector interests, including amateur radio (ham radio) use of parts of the spectrum.
